1. Preserved or processed foods

Preserved and processed foods are considered “empty foods” meant to mostly keep away starvation.  Most of the natural goodness of food is depleted during the processing.  When you eat preserved or processed food (and in other cases boiled foods) the nutrition value of the food is never at its optimum, and so preserved and processed foods cannot ensure a healthy living.  If your daily meals are mainly preserved or processed foods you could end up with an underfeed body in need of essential vitamins and minerals.
