Banana Almond Shake (Fruit-based)

Ingredients

  • 4 cups almond milk
  • ½ cup fruit-based yogurt strawberry or vanilla
  • 3-4 ripe bananas, frozen
  • 2 tbsps. flaxseed meal
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ½ tsp. almond extract or vanilla extract optional
  • ½ tsp. Angostura bitters optional
  • sweeten with honey and sprinkle a little of cinnamon if desired

Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients for the shake.
  • Add the flaxseed meal to the milk, then add the banana, yogurt, and extract and bitters.
  • Blend and finally add the balance of ingredients. Blend until smooth. Sweeten to your liking. I prefer to sweeten with honey. Serve with ice.
