Banana Almond Shake

This is a very filling milk shake.

  • blender


  • 4 cups almond milk
  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 3-4 ripe bananas frozen
  • 2 tbsp. flaxseed meal
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ½ tsp. almond extract or vanilla extract optional
  • ½ tsp. Angostura bitters optional
  • sweeten with honey and sprinkle a little of cinnamon if desired


  • Prepare the ingredients for the shake.
  • Add the flaxseed meal to the milk, then add the banana, yogurt, and extract and bitters
  • Blend and finally add the balance of ingredients. Blend until smooth. Sweeten to your liking.
  • You may add ice to the shake if you want it colder. Refrigerate.
