I can’t say I am a coffee addict, I may be getting there… but it could be because I need to stay up to do a number of things on the site. That and the mere fact that it could do a whole lot of good for you otherwise, are the reasons I thought I should add coffee to my dessert. Why not?
Coffee with Tea Anyone?
Maybe Jonathan Swift is correct when he said, “Coffee makes us severe, and grave, and philosophical“. So today I thought I’d show you what I have been doing with coffee. My father-in-law is a coffee addict and he suggested I try coffee with tea. Being a newcomer to coffee I agree it was a good introduction to coffee.
If you are a season coffee drinker, like my father-in-law and a newbie like myself, I know you will like this. The red tea gives the coffee a subtle tea-flavor that may have even the most seasoned coffee drinker wanting more. It may even have you questioning what exotic blend of coffee is this.
In continuing with coffee week, we have for you today coffee with tea. If you want you could try other blends of tea, such as mint or chamomile. Here is coffee with tea.
Coffee with Tea Recipe
1 tsp. instant coffee
1/3 cup water
1 tea bag (we used the Red Rose brand)
Sugar to taste
Instant coffee (choose your favorite brands) and Red Rose tea bags.
Note: not all coffee brands are the same; some are stronger than others.
This brand produces a mild coffee.
Well, that’s it for today. Look out for more coffee recipes for the week. If you check out the site you would have noticed that I’ve added a submit recipe form if you would like to have your recipe showcased on Simply Trini Cooking. Just read the rules and send in your recipes.
Also check out the updated Menu that makes searching for recipes and other stuff much, much easier.
See you tomorrow please God.
